This small chain of café restaurants was founded in 2015 and now has four locations scattered across the capital. Its founder wanted to recreate an Australian atmosphere, like her country of origin. The menu is not 100% vegan but offers a range of vegan dishes, ideal for breakfast and brunch to afternoon tea. You will find, among other things, gluten-free and vegan pancakes, a sandwich with vegan bacon made from coconut, smoothie & acai bowls, gluten-free and vegan pastries, and lattes of all colors! Reservations are not possible but the take-out sale has been in place since the start of the pandemic.

Craving donuts? Then Crosstown is for you! With a dozen stores in the city, this chain offers excellent donuts, cookies, ice cream and vegan drinks! Their products are not exclusively vegan but their vegan offer remains varied and delicious! Let yourself be tempted by a donut with Sri Lankan cinnamon, peanut butter and blackcurrant compote or by one of their seasonal flavors like the donut with thyme and apricot in summer. The majority of their stores are open every day and you can also order online on their site.

Looking at the photo, it may be hard to believe, but this pizzeria is really 100% vegan! They not only make their own plant-based “mozzarella”, but also vegan alternatives to pepperoni, ham and other cold meats that are typically found on pizzas! There, no need to desperately search for an animal-free option, the whole menu is vegan and appetizing! Open since 2019, this one-of-a-kind pizzeria has quickly become a landmark for all East London vegans!

Opened just a few months ago, this new vegan restaurant was launched by Deliciously Ella, a British pioneer of the 100% plant-based diet. Deliciously Ella's empire is several vegan cookbooks, vegan food products in the supermarket and a mobile app offering recipes, guided meditations, workouts and more. Ella and Matt, the couple running the restaurant, have decided to transform their former deli restaurant into a more fine dining restaurant. Result, a great success with a menu that is creative and far from the beaten track of vegan cuisine that we are used to finding! Open daily from breakfast to dinner.

Fan of Mexican food? You will love Club Mexicana! This restaurant offers the best vegan tacos and burritos in London. Their menu includes “fish” tacos made with tofu, a “pork bbq” burrito made with jackfruit or even nachos with 100% plant-based cheese. Their dishes are not only full of flavor, but also beautiful and colorful, like their fuschia pink storefront. If you feel like it, let yourself be tempted by a frozen margarita or a beer imported from Mexico for a truly exotic experience. Since the pandemic, they've also been selling kits to recreate their dishes at home!
