And it can be stressful not to set the right limits, not to be able to work optimally, especially when you start! Before having our stores, I only worked from home and this for several years. This is one of the most important things in my opinion. Follow your morning routine and GET DRESSED. This little detail completely changes the mindset and takes you from a quiet Sunday morning to a productive start to the day even from home!
2. A GOOD WORKSTATION
Take a moment to create a nice, tidy workspace. Above all, do not work from a bed or sofa, soft surfaces are neither good for your back nor good for feeling up! Having a nice space on a table, with a small cozy decorative object like a candle (my favorite, the Swiss Kaptus soy wax candles) or a plant helps a lot with concentration and especially to enjoy working from home!
This doesn't just apply to the home office, lists are the essence of smooth running, efficiency and peace of mind in my opinion! Take a moment to set your goals for the day, most specific = most effective! This will help you complete the tasks and not waste time! It will also keep you from having stray thoughts like "oh I have to answer Vanessa" or "I absolutely have to call the printer", everything is noted and everything is on time!
The temptation is easy but I advise you not to watch Netflix or Youtube, even in the background. Use soft music instead. I recommend the playlist Spotify « LOVE » de Yoga Girl. Perfect for helping focus!
Drinking enough water is never easy, doing home office is the perfect opportunity to always have a large glass of water always next to you!
